The provider of government grant funding to this business needed to know that the funds it was providing were being responsibly used by this service provider. We conducted a thorough review of the internal controls and financial condition of the grant funds recipient and produced a report that recommended changes in 16 areas that improve business profitability and reassure its funder.
RESTRUCTURING OF A SPECIAL DISTRICT
Helping local water supply district to stay in business.
When a local water supply district had not filed audited financial statements for 8 years with the County Comptroller, the body responsible for its political oversight pushed for change. We conducted a series of detailed audits, both forensic and of their financial statements over a 7 month period. Our lengthy list of recommendations led to the replacement of untrained bookkeeping staff with specialists in special district accounting, replacement of an outdated accounting system, securing of district assets through segregation of cash handling and accounting, and the restoration of the regulators' confidence in district management.
ATTRACTING FUNDS FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL STARTUP
Helping the CEO attract investor capital
The CEO of a company developing new technology controlling the temperature and atmosphere for transporting perishables was in desperate need of new investor capital in order to keep his company in business. Over the course of several Business Energy Coaching sessions our coach identified and helped the CEO release subconscious blocks and barriers to being fully open to new investor capital, generating new investor interest following each coaching session. This also led to several world-class companies and government agencies becoming interested in his company's technology.

Helping a CPA harmonize a crucial staff relationship
A sole practitioner CPA with growing tax and audit practices serving non-profits, special districts, and other businesses serving the public good, had become dependent upon a very capable, but also highly emotionally volatile, employee. A coaching session with one of our Business Energy Coaches identified and released the subconscious causes of the volatility in this relationship. Once these origins had been brought from his unconscious mind into his conscious awareness, his work relationship with his associate dramatically improved, and she became a major strategic asset.
